The Extended math plan, comprising the Core math plan and the Supplement, has been intended for the more scholastically capable and leads normally into advanced education or expert preparing. It is designated at those normal to accomplish grades A* to E. The Supplement portrays the additional subjects or profundity which should be added to the Core math program to create the Extended math plan.

If a student is securely in the ‘middle’ of the range, only the Extended tier will offer the grades the student may be capable of achieving. Students are not able to achieve above a C for their syllabus grade if they are entered for the Core curriculum.
